Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel was built in 1882 as a country mansion house and family home, owned by the Pritchard-Rayner family. The family moved in exalted circles, not just in Britain but also in Europe. Family members took part in the Anglesey Hunt from 1895 and on into the twentieth century. Post hunt dinners and balls were often held at Tre-Ysgawen Hall.

To the best of our knowledge from circa .1989  substantial renovations took place of a number of years. Then in 1996 the house was acquired by a Charitable Trust, it was then decided that Tre-Ysgawen Hall should be a family run business and management of the hotel was taken over by the Rowlands family. In the late nineteen nineties additional rooms, function suites and a luxury spa were added to the existing facilities to make the hotel what it is today.

The hall is currently under new management who are leading a modernisation program of changes.
