Located within the historic setting of Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel & Spa, Romana’s Restaurant offers a refined dining experience in Anglesey, ideal for guests seeking fine dining in North Wales within a luxury country house hotel.
From Monday to Saturday, Romana’s Restaurant is open for dinner service only, welcoming guests from 6:00pm onwards for relaxed and elegant evening dining. The carefully curated menu draws inspiration from classic British and Italian cuisine, thoughtfully prepared using the freshest seasonal ingredients, with selected herbs and produce sourced from the hotel’s walled garden. Each dish is crafted to showcase quality, flavour and presentation.
On Sundays, Romana’s offers a traditional Sunday Lunch served between 12:00pm and 4:00pm, followed by dinner service from 6:00pm onwards. Whether joining us for a romantic dinner in Anglesey, a leisurely Sunday lunch, or a special celebration, guests can expect warm hospitality and attentive service throughout.
The beautifully restored dining room reflects the heritage of Tre-Ysgawen Hall while providing a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. Guests may pair their meal with a selection of wines, beers, spirits and non-alcoholic options from the fully licensed bar, with recommendations available from our experienced team.

The Sunday Lunch I had when visiting was amazing! I cannot fault the vibes as well as the food - the customer service was 10/10 too. If you’re ever in the Llangefni area, I would definitely recommend!

Just dined in this fabulous restaurant. I had the chicken ballentine for starter which was so succulent and paired lovely with the red onion jam. For mains I had fillet of beef which was cooked to absolute perfection. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Cannot wait to go back!!
